Arizona FTTH OSP Construction Scope

This contractor-facing portal turns the Arizona work package into a live planning and quote environment for Saguaro Sun, Mesa Shadows, and Citrus Gardens. The purpose is simple: give Ryan a sharper understanding of what exists now, what still must be built, how each community scales by homes and linear path, and a direct way to submit cost estimates through the site.

Saguaro Sun is the active entry-path construction. Mesa Shadows requires backbone completion off partial crossings already placed. Citrus Gardens needs a full OSP deployment quote, starting with the upstream feed path and continuing through trunk, vault, and home drop infrastructure.

Scope Summary

What Ryan needs to understand before he prices the work

This package is built to help Ryan quote the field work correctly, not just skim a list. Each section below clarifies the current status, the intended construction architecture, and the exact categories he should be pricing for each park.

Saguaro Sun

  • Current meet-me to headend conduit path is the active benchmark scope.
  • 630-foot east/west entry run includes four asphalt road crossings and patch repair.
  • Remaining work still includes interior trunk runs, additional distribution points, drop conduits, and final home connection pathways.

Mesa Shadows

  • Some crossings were installed during asphalt replacement and can be leveraged now.
  • Main remaining work is the community backbone behind homes, then vault spacing and drop distribution from that backbone.
  • Ryan should quote this as a partially enabled build, not a blank-slate deployment.

Citrus Gardens

  • This community should be treated as a full OSP deployment quote.
  • Ryan needs to price the upstream feed path, trunk network, vault locations, and home drops.
  • The new vault location off University is the key meet-me reference point.

Saguaro Sun

Total homes: 480
Current active contract: $5,000
Meet-me run: 630 ft

Saguaro Sun is the current live field reference. Ryan is already installing the conduit path from the existing Zayo vault on Val Vista Dr to the headend in the main clubhouse. That run establishes the primary fiber entrance into the park and creates the benchmark for the remaining OSP pricing logic.

  • Trench and complete the entry conduit path from meet-me point to headend.
  • Execute four asphalt road crossings with saw cut, conduit passage, and asphalt repair.
  • Complete conduit terminations at the headend location.
  • Quote remaining interior trunk conduit routes through the park.
  • Quote remaining distribution vaults at trunk intersections and group-feed points.
  • Quote drop conduits from vault locations to homes, including sidewalk crossings and stubs to skirting/CPE positions.

Mesa Shadows

Total homes: 306
Status: Partial crossings already in
Backbone focus: Behind-home conduit paths

Mesa Shadows is not a fresh start. Some major crossings were already placed during the recent asphalt replacement, which means Ryan should treat this as a partially enabled build where the remaining value is in stitching the backbone together, establishing the right distribution points, and feeding homes efficiently from the installed crossing positions.

  • Install the primary backbone conduit behind homes throughout the community.
  • Connect new backbone routes into the already-installed crossing infrastructure.
  • Install vaults along trunk routes and drop zones.
  • Run drop conduits from vaults to homes with practical path selection.
  • Use the current field layout to reduce rework and maximize already-open routing opportunities.
  • Price the remaining network as a build completion scope, not a fully virgin park.

Citrus Gardens

Total homes: 680
Status: Full OSP deployment required
Meet-me reference: University vault location

Citrus Gardens should be priced as a full deployment. Ryan needs to build the quote from the upstream access point forward: meet-me path, headend feed, community trunk routes, vault placement strategy, and drop conduits to homes. The visual goal here is a full network build path, not selective patchwork.

  • Install conduit from the upstream fiber access point to the headend location.
  • Build trunk conduit routes across the community in the most efficient topology.
  • Install vaults at intersections and distribution zones.
  • Install drop conduits feeding each home.
  • Use practical segmenting so labor, material, and asphalt restoration can be quoted clearly.
  • Present this as an end-to-end OSP construction estimate.
